Good News, sorta....

Sun Nov 22, 2009, 3:57 PM
It's a mixed bag.
Long time visitors are probably aware that I'm disabled, with a progressive degenerative genetic disorder. Won't bother ya with details, it's terminal, debilitating, and unbelievably painful.
Anyway, just finished a series of tests, and the docs tell me I not only seem to have stablized, but they are willing to try a few new treatments which may improve my condition.
So, if things works out, I may get to eat bacon, liver, and leafy vegetables again, as well as travel longer distances, maybe even by plane!
But it's pricey, even with insurance. (Ugly part.)
On the other hand...
Had lunch with a nice publisher guy who seems interested in the Paum novel, so there's movement of sorts.
And I'm gonna threaten Amazon to get the rights back to my first book, so that should free up some cash there.
But if anyone wants to order one of the last couple of pre-release copies of Paum, ($15), or Ogre Stories ($7), it wouldn't annoy me at all...

Sweet! didnt know you had a Dev page! Been wanting to see more of your stuff since Marcon 42...
Any chance of finding more of Weng Shu's wisdom to share?
:iconwilliamlevy:
Sorry it took a bit to reply. I got caught in the Ike mess, been playing serious catch up.
Thanks for the notes and compliments.
I'm accumulating more Weng Shu, slowly but surely, and eventually there will be another book, but I couldn't say when. Right now I'm focused on getting Paum (Space fantasy novel) finished as well as a new furry collection and the next novel.
Between ignoring my self-imposed deadlines for the serial, anyway... *grins*
Hopefully, things will slow down a little in the near future and give me a chance.

*embarrassed glance inside underwear, biting of lip*
Yup, that's me. I don't use an online alias, unless I gotta.
*grins*
Hard enough keeping track of all the hats I wear without adding name problems.
You got some nice art on yer site, by the way...
:iconassesina:
okay.. but youre not THE "william levy" now are you?.. the actor?.. omg you cant be.. :wow: .. oh and thanxx..
:iconwilliamlevy:
Hmm, Good question.Probably not. I did a couple of years of stand-up at clubs, but no film or TV. And I've done a lot of lecture tours over the years. A third of a century with the day job of freelance artist, writer, and game designer. It's felt like acting at times...
But I suspect I'm not the one you're refering to.
Sorry. My name is a rather commonone.
